I’m Ryan Jensen, and I founded Minerva Design after 21 years in the fire alarm industry, from device-level layout through final AHJ sign-off.

I started Minerva because fire alarm contractors, electrical contractors, and design teams need a specialized technical resource they can rely on for drawings that pass the first time, without the overhead of a large engineering firm or the guesswork of a general drafting service.

Minerva isn’t an engineering firm, an electrical contracting company, or an installation outfit. It’s a focused practice built around four things: design, consulting, plan examination, and design certification. I handle the design, CAD, and technical review work directly. For certifications that require a PE stamp, I partner with a licensed Professional Engineer for final review and sign-off, so you get direct, hands-on design work and a properly licensed certification, without the overhead of a large multi-disciplinary firm.
